Men Beware

As if there are not enough epidemics about this happens.

"Scientists around the world were scrambling to prevent the possibility of a pandemic after a nearly 50-year-old killer influenza virus was sent to thousands of labs, a decision that one researcher described as unwise."

And that is not a good thing for young men

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A common cold bug could cause heart attacks in younger men, U.S. researchers reported on Tuesday."

The whole idea that large quantities of this virus are being stored in the first place is quite disturbing. I can understand if the CDC had some tightly controlled samples, but to have enough of it to ship to thousands of labs is unconcionable.

The Spanish Flu after WW1 killed more than the War. About 8 years ago I met an elderly female whose mother's first husband died of it.

Can anyone ID this classical 'Flu' reference? "COME ON DOWN AND EAT CHICKEN WITH ME BEAUTIFUL, IT'S SOOOO DARK!"
