We Welcome a New Addition to Our Blog List

We found this blog run by Capt. John Upperman, US Army, who is actually in Iraq. As you might already know, he tells quite a different story than the MSM, and has some great photos to go along with it. Please visit his site and see for yourself. For your convenience we have also added him to our blog list.

Commentary: What It's All About

OK, in an effort to circle the wagons around News-WEAK, the MSM have reduced themselves to attacking the President by proxy, now in their defamation of our troops. And don't kid yourselves - the Grab-an-Arab prison follies, Koran-gate, Saddam Skivvy-gate, and this twit, Linda Foley, saying that our military are killing journalists in Iraq "with impunity"** - their condemnation of Iraqi Freedom in general is all about their intense hatred of President Bush. If it was Bill Clinton instead of George W. Bush in the White House you can be certain that the war would be hailed as the greatest humanitarian effort in our nation's history, and our troops as courageous heroes freeing millions of oppressed people from a tyrranical madman. However, they have now shown their true colors and never...I repeat...NEVER AGAIN can they do or say anything that in any way could be construed as "supporting the troops" or showing respect for our military.

The next time you see any news piece from the MSM showing our wounded troops recovering at Walter Reed or that otherwise portrays our troops as those deserving of our respect and appreciation, we will know they don't mean it. They might do it for ratings, but certainly not because they truly feel that way. The rats in the MSM have shown clearly that they are on a mission to do everything they can to smear the President and are willing to destroy the United States in the process. Had we this kind of journalism during WWII we would have lost. Giving aid and comfort to the enemy, inflaming their already insane tendencies, resulting in our troops being placed at greater risk, the actions of the MSM are nothing short of sedition. Sympathy for the devil, indeed.
“Journalists, by the way, are not just being targeted verbally or … ah, or … ah, politically. They are also being targeted for real, um … in places like Iraq. What outrages me as a representative of journalists is that there’s not more outrage about the number, and the brutality, and the cavalier nature of the U.S. military toward the killing of journalists in Iraq. They target and kill journalists … uh, from other countries, particularly Arab countries like Al -, like Arab news services like al-Jazeera, for example. They actually target them and blow up their studios with impunity."

--Linda Foley, President of the Newspaper Guild

Todd Boudreaux: Teaching a New Dog New Tricks

When it comes to engines, racers, enthusiasts, and gearheads in general know that, all other things being equal, there is no substitute for cubic inches. That is why "big blocks" from all the "Big 3" manufacturers have been so popular for so long. However, one of the drawbacks to all that power is the excessive weight that is inherent to the big block (exotics like the ZL-1 and aftermarket aluminum blocks from Rodeck or Donovan notwithstanding). Well, how would you like to eat your cake and have it too?

Today's modern small blocks with EFI, infinitely "tunable" computer engine management systems, and advanced camshaft and cylinder head designs offer the potential for power levels that only 10 years ago were nearly unheard of except in the most specialized, high dollar arenas that were pretty much restricted to "race-only" applications. That's all changed now, and we're about to take a look at a modified version one of the most accessible small-blocks around, the all-aluminum, third generation of the GM small block: the LS-1 (5.7 liters) and LS-2 (6.0 liters) series.

My very good friend, Todd Boudreaux, and I worked together building LS-1's for customers a few years back, and he has tons of experience, having built hundreds of LS-1's in everything from stock to twin-turbo applications. His motors have competed in the grueling "Baja 1000" off-road race and finished without a whimper. In his latest creation, Todd has used a stroker crank to make a 402 CID (6.6 liters) MONSTER that makes 650 HP with NO blower, turbo, or nitrous. That's right...650 NA/Normally Aspirated horsepower in a lightweight (400 lbs., give or take) package based on the new for 2005 LS-2 (a revised version of its hugely successful progenitor GenIII LS-1) which, as the standard engine in the new C6 Corvette, GTO, and Holden HSV series, makes 400 HP and just over 400 lbs./ft. of torque in stock trim.

Along with the stroker crank, other features in this fully blueprinted, hand assembled, dyno tested, RFI (Ready for Installation) engine package include:
  • all aluminum block, 6 bolt cross-bolted maincaps
  • all new from Airflow Research (AFR) "Mongoose" aluminum cylinder heads, fitted with 2.08" intake/1.60" exhaust valves, custom 5-angle valve seats, roller rockers, 225cc intake port, ARP studs
  • custom pistons, 12.5:1 compression - race fuel (110 PON octane) required
  • custom stainless rods w/ ARP bolts
  • proprietary camshaft, custom ground by Competition Cams with matched springs
  • 90mm throttle body and FAST LSX lightweight composite intake manifold
  • 85lb./hr. fuel injectors and adjustable fuel pressure regulator
  • custom-tuned-length 1.75"-1.875" diameter stepped-primary racing headers
  • GM/Delphi marine-grade MEFI-IV ECU, custom burned, w/ 5 wire "plug-and-play" universal harness using tried and true, race-proven GM "Weather-pack" connectors
  • crank-triggered, individual coil-near-plug ignition
Considering what you get, the $10,000+(USD) price tag is a bargain. If this sounds good to you and you're SERIOUSLY interested in something like this, email us at our email addy on the right (where else?), and we'll be happy to forward it to him.

**I'll translate for the layman: My friend Todd builds a really powerful engine that will make whatever you have very fast.**

19 ..... Let us Hope He remains This Age

This guy needs a branding iron shoved up his butt, so he will experience how very excuriatingly painful it will be to be in prison. Seems he has lived upto his name "LAV ON," name of Sue-reg would have suited him better.
Police arrested a man who allegedly tried to drive nails into his ex-girlfriend's hands and screws into her head. Lavon L. Lampkins, 19, faces felony charges of battery with a deadly weapon and intimidation. He was being held on $15,000 bond

Nineteen years old, only gets 18 months, the only reason he gets that long is because he was already on probation prior to this nasty assault. Just throw away the key, hopeless cases are not worth the effort of being given a chance., damn what is the world coming to.

Is It News

Wow... must be some big sink hole, or it could be a clogged underground water feed, filled to the brim with all those flushed Korans no doubt.
Missing: one Russian lake. :
A Russian village has been left baffled after its lake disappeared overnight.NTV television has shown pictures of a giant muddy hole bathed in summer sun, while fishermen from the village of Bolotnikovo look on.
They mustn't be praying hard enough, they took the water supply from the wrong continent with their sermons.
This Week's Palestinian Authority Sermon: We (Muslims) Will Rule America; Israel is a Cancer; Jews are a Virus Resembling AIDS; Muslims Will Finish Them Off. The following are excerpts from this week's official Friday sermon on Palestinian Authority (PA) TV.
How about this gem?
Someone said that Star Wars III, Revenge of the Sith, had a message for us about the Bush administration. Balderdash you say? This will remove all doubt and really piss you off just for fun. I hate these mongrels. But you can always visit and welcome PABAAH.

However, if you are feeling really aggressive against the leftist moonbats, don't go here
The American soldier knows full well there were no WMDs. He knows the UN has declared the war illegal. He knows Iraq was no threat to the USA. He knows the USA attacked Iraq, a tiny unarmed country, without provocation. He knows full well Americans are killing more children than adults. He knows about the atrocities and torture....etc
Or here, however if you do , would someone please agree with me that desert troops would not be wearing green cammies, as I have always thought that the troops are to blend into their environment, not stick out like an oasis in the middle of a desert. Also isn't it against dress regulations to be outfitted in uniforms that are faded and too big. To be honest, considering the site's URL id, I thought, ahh...porn pictures from some Mexican sleaze hole.

MSM Continues Its Treason

This woman has to be an absolute moron of the worst description. Weren't the deaths caused by false reports of the Koran flushing enough? Hasn't she learnt without provision of unrefuteable proof, her words are a pack of lies that will kill innocent people, words that will kill the brave men and women in the forces?

Again and Again:
The president of a group representing reporters worldwide is accusing U.S. soldiers of committing atrocities without offering any evidence to back the charge up.
NOOO, obviously not, her claims that the US Troops in Iraq are targeting reporters is just over the top and, her example of Al-Jazeera is laughable. However, so predictable, Republicans are in government, she doesn't need proof, she only needs her own opinion.

The president is not Clinton, he is Pres. Bush, so expendable, as expendable as all the troops in Iraq, it seems. What is the bottom line? False reporters, furnishing false facts are killing your sons and daughters, causing more incited hatred to be aimed at them in their already precarious positions in Iraq.
Appearing in St. Louis on Friday, Newspaper Guild President Linda Foley complained: What outrages me as a representative of journalists is that there’s not more outrage about the number, and the brutality, and the cavalier nature of the U.S. military toward the killing of journalists in Iraq.
In case anyone missed the point, Foley restated her allegation: 'They target and kill journalists ... uh, from other countries, particularly Arab countries like Al -, like Arab news services like Al-Jazeera, for example. They actually target them and blow up their studios with impunity. ...'
Isn't it ironic? No one asked any reporters to be in the war zone to begin with. It is their personal choices to endanger their own lives, so why blame anyone but themselves if they die in the midst of conflict. Death is too good for this stupid, unpatriotic cow.

What majority Rule?

The Washington Times last week put to rest once and for all the false idea that Republicans treated Bill Clinton's appointments the same way Dumocrats are now treating Bush's. Here are the percentages of presidential appellate court nominees eventually confirmed by the Senate:
Harry Truman..............................100%
Dwight Eisenhower...................92.3%
John Kennedy...........................77.3%
Lyndon Johnson........................86.2%
Richard Nixon...........................87.0%
Gerald Ford..............................81.8%
Jimmy Carter.........................100.0%
Ronald Reagan........................95.0%
G. H. W. Bush.........................95.7%
Bill Clinton.............................86.4%
George W. Bush.......................53.1%
So the last 10 presidencies average out to 91.2% compared to G.W. Bush at 53.1%

Now the Thais are Offended...

**WARNING: This post contains what could be perceived as offensive language and radical ideas. If you are easily offended, I could really care less, but you should leave now. You have been duly notified. Read at your own risk.**

You know, I have absolutely had it with this cultural sensitivity bullshit. Seems now that the Thais are upset with Miss Universe contestants posing in bikinis with some temple in the background of the photo.
The chair of the Senate tourism committee, Suradech Yasawat, said the photos, which were splashed on the front pages of most Thai newspapers, had hurt the country's image.

"It is completely inappropriate. When a contest is being held in Thailand, Thai traditions and culture should be respected," he told the Thai News Agency.
Message to Ass-a-twat and any other third-world jerk-offs that feel the same way he does: You fuckers know what the Miss Universe pageant is and what it entails. It is all about beautiful women showing off their bodies, often in bikinis, not bearded inbreds with half their teeth missing. You know what the pageant is all about when you agree to host it in your country, and you cannot cry "foul" after the fact when something offends you. Either deal with it, or don't host it at all. Either way, shut the fuck up already with your holier-than-thou bullshit!!! You cocksuckers have no problem taking Western money in aid for the Boxing Day tsunami.

I get so pissed at this kind of insane bullshit!

** Addendum** We often post articles we think will be of interest to you, the readers, only to find that through comments made, we have overlooked certain angles or in some instances views that we had not contemplated (in this case due to me being totally enraged, if you couldn't tell.) Hence, we're posting sample comments made on this story, so it may encourage others to share their opinions or experiences.

Being that it's normal for Thais to sell their own children into prostitution, I don't think this man is in any position to complain about women in bikinis.
BobF said...
You are talking about Thailand here, right? The same Thailand where middle age male perverts from all over the world travel to in order to have sex with young boys and girls? The same Thailand that during the Vietnam war our GI's said had the best whores in the world, with the tradition continuing today. This is the Thailand that’s upset about a bunch of women in bathing suits posing with a Temple in the background. Now, if this isn’t a case of the skunk telling the possum he’s got bad breath, I don’t know what is.

Barry Goldwater had the Right Idea

Quick word of apology as I have copied and pasted what I believe to be relevant to my beliefs in leadership, and to view the entire article you must register. I thought I may save you the trip to the source site, however, link below for further reading.

Final Word:

In 1964, Barry Gold-water accepted the Republican nomination for president and set the ideological trajectory of a nation on the brink of self-discovery. 'I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.' His words are more important today than ever before.

BTW this is one of Joe's favourite quotes. If only more people had heeded the words of Barry Goldwater in the 60's.

Decades of moderation have served only to blur the line between parties and principles. We need extremism - not in religious zeal, but in commitment to Patrick Henry's rallying cry of "Give me liberty or give me death!" We require a leader who is not afraid to overhaul archaic and overbearing tax codes, retool a Social Security program that is on a path towards self-destruction, and rebuild a public school system that has, for lack of a better term, failed. He must encourage private enterprise to facilitate general prosperity and he must confront evil tyrants who wish to subjugate their people and intimidate the international community.

Hispanics Urge Md. Gov. to Respond to Slur

Hispanics:

Duvall, a retired attorney, made the remarks as he commented on a proposal to use a former boot camp as a facility for women detained by federal immigration authorities. 'Now it wants to turn the place into a warehouse for illegal female wetbacks,' he wrote.

I am sorry but I for one think this is so funny. How many times have we heard from Mexican Groups and peoples say that Bush is a Nazi? The US is evil etc etc? Why do they get so touchy, over common terminology? Dont like it go home yo where you belong. And if they can associate with the name, aren't they catergorising themselves/ For the PC out there, yep it is a great idea placing the illegal Mexicans in a boot camp, with an added clause: "While persons are being held in detainment, any babies born during this time shall be deemed a citizen of the mothers country not a citizen of the US."

Quote of the Day

John Derbyshire, a British ex-pat who is now an American citizen, writing in National Review Online, echoes and confirms my thoughts on British MP George Galloway vs. our Senate:
Don't get me wrong: Galloway is a piece of offal, who used a sick-kids charity as a cover for enriching himself, and smooched with one of the world's nastiest dictators for the same purpose.

Galloway came up through the UK parliamentary system, though, where you have to be fierce and clever in debate, and need to be able to think fast on your feet. The US Senate is full of pompous bores, stuffed up to the nose holes with a conviction of their own terrific importance, whose idea of debate is to drone their way through a speech some minimum-wage staffer has written up for them. This was like watching an alley mongrel let loose in a room full of pampered, overfed lap dogs.

Commentary: Politics at Home and Abroad

The Urban Grind's piece on British MP George Galloway, comparing his tactics to those used by Marion Barry, inspired this commentary from yours truly:

I was listening to Mark Steyn on the Hugh Hewitt show about 30 minutes ago, and he lambasted British MP George Galloway as “the lowest of scoundrels.” Galloway used to visit Saddam, bringing him gifts like fancy chocolates and such. I was reading about his (Galloway's) Senate appearance yesterday, and, as Hugh concurred, there was little mention of any of his agredious behavior that was his whole purpose of attending the hearings to begin with. The MSM coverage made him appear as a parliamentary Michael Moore-type, focussing on his fiery tone toward the Senate sub-committee.

One thing my fellow Americans must remember is that there is a very big difference between the British House of Commons and the US Senate. British MP’s speak very candidly in Parliament compared to the overly polite stoicism of our Senators. I despise Galloway, but I do admire the refreshing, “gloves off,” un-PC nature with which he and other MP’s conduct themselves in the political arena. The diatribes from clowns like Byrd and Kennedy wouldn’t last 5 minutes in a Parliamentary system. Our congress critters could take a lesson or two from these folks, and it would go a long way toward their credibility with Americans who, like me, have no or very little faith in anything these guys say or do.

Watch some Parliamentary coverage on C-SPAN sometime, and you will find it much more engaging than watching our Congress in (non)action. I cringe when I think how our President would fare if he had to stand in front of Congress and field rapid-fire questions and attacks from the opposition the way Tony Blair does. Let’s face it, the President doesn’t do too well when he has to think on his feet; he has a lot of trouble even when he knows what questions are coming from the press and selects from a pre-determined list of reporters to call upon.

Since coming to New Zealand, watching how things work here (Parliamentary, similar to Britain) has been a very eye-opening experience and has demonstrated how insulated from much of the rest of the world many of my fellow Americans are. We in the blogosphere can do a lot to change that.

Rock Trivia

Back in the late '60s and early '70s a really cool cat named John Kay led a band named Steppenwolf ("Magic Carpet Ride", "Born to be Wild"). They had a great song in which Kay implored God to damn somebody or something. Who or what was Kay referring to? Was it:
  1. nuclear weapons?
  2. the Soviet Union?
  3. President Nixon/the Vietnam War?
  4. drug pushers?
  5. Muslims?

Before the Eagles became hugely successful on their own they were the back-up band for which female vocalist? (hint: She has since put on A LOT of weight and was a very outspoken moonbat during last year's presidential campaign.)

Memorable Quotes - Good and Bad

The Good
"War is an ugly thing - but not the ugliest of things. The decaying and degrading state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks nothing is worse than war, is worse. A man who has nothing he cares about more than he cares about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made so and kept so by the exceptions of better men than himself."

-- John Stuart Mills

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

-- General George S. Patton

****************************************
"Why is it that there's more indignation over a photo of a
prisoner with underwear on his head than over the video of a young American
with no head at all? Why is it that some in this country still don't get
that we are at war? A war against terrorists who are plotting to kill us
every day. Terrorists who will murder Americans at any time any place any
chance they get."

-- Senator Zell Miller

****************************************
"Let me remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. Let me also remind you that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."

The Bad
“I’m an internationalist. I’d like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.”

Enemy Watch: Democratic Underground

Many of you know that I am very Machiavellian in my ways, and I believe in the idea of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." So, as a public service to our readers, we peruse the Leftist sites on a regular basis to see what the enemy is up to. Today we bring you this from the uber-moonbats at Democratic Underground:
He had been in American custody right before he supposedly picked up by Al Qaeda. One of the individuals here noted that the killers appeared to be white from what he could see of them. Berg was wearing the orange prison garb prisoners of the Americans are wearing. Our government refused to help the Berg family. Bin Laden's gang is the least likely group to be picking up people in Iraq as there aren't that many of them there as compared to other Iraqi groups.

The most important question of any criminal investigation is "Who benefited?" Suddenly, Repugs are saying the Iraqi prisoners deserved the abuse.

So who do you think killed him?
The two choices in this scientific poll are: 1) People working for U.S. Government or 2) People working for Al Quaeda. 73% of the highly intelligent conspiracy theorists at DU who responded answered choice number 1. It's ironic that the pollmaster (take that any way you want) calls himself "Genius."

Michael Savage is correct: Liberalism IS a mental disorder. These people are living proof.

Martyrs and Media: Are They One and The Same?

So many of the MSM have laid the blame of terrorist activities directly at the feet of the US and Pres. Bush. However, if we delve into the incidents themselves we state categorically that the MSM and their hordes of supporting moonbats are wrong.

'Martyrs' In Iraq Mostly Saudis:
"Before Hadi bin Mubarak Qahtani exploded himself into an anonymous fireball, he was young and interested only in 'fooling around.

Like many Saudis, he was said to have experienced a religious awakening after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States and dedicated himself to Allah, inspired by 'the holy attack that demolished the foolish infidel Americans and caused many young men to awaken from their deep sleep*,' according to a posting on a jihadist Web site."
*The "deep sleep" mentioned above refers to a Muslim practice known as "kaif," which enables the Muslim to accept or resign himself to misfortune and desperate plight, perceived or otherwise.

Using the Muslim fanatics' own reasoning, we see that the massive increase of terror was not due to Pres. Bush and the US, but by Muslim perception of a divine revelation by way of 9/11. Muslims world wide were given a sense of bravado and self worth vicariously through the act of murdering 1000's of innocents. Al Qaida and Osama became recognised as the vessel of destruction and retribution for their beloved Muhammed against the strongest of all powers of the West. Terrorist activities have little to do with the US being after oil or control of Muslim countries, and have everything to do with attacking the West's strongest country and showing that they (the terroists) can control and put fear into the hearts of peoples not of the Muslim faith. However, how often do you or have you seen headlines like this?:
"Iraq war on a US desire for domination of the Gulf and the world."

"US goal is world hegemony, built around securing by force command over the oil supplies"
The MSM continues along the path of being a willing partner in furthering the Muslim cause with their incessant reporting of the "evils" of the US, when they themselves are a direct cause of instigating further disruptions and killings under the mantra of "freedom of the press." The MSM are fighting the biggest battle on behalf of the Muslim murderers with their shoddy reporting, widespread misinformation, and sedition against the US and her allies.

The misinformation being reported is emboldening the Islamic fanatics with righteousness and courage to fight the "infidel westerners," resulting in further uprisings, for example, not by the peoples of Iraq, but by opportunistic terrorists from outside their borders. The misinformation is also feeding the rest of the world with a sense of apathy toward the terrorists activities. As there are so many anti-war, anti-US articles published, the normal person is leaning toward "I don't blame them (Muslims) ; the US shouldn't be there," mentality. Don't you think it is time that, regardless of freedom of speech, the media should adhere to the same laws as the common man (show me a man or a woman that could get away with inciting riots through lies resulting in deaths not being prosecuted or jailed)?

Let us remember the Islamic "reasoning" behind 9/11, which incited the rage of the US, forcing them to take control and destroy at their source the bugs that caused such horor:
The principal stated aims of al-Qaeda are to drive Americans and American influence out of all Muslim nations, especially Saudi Arabia; destroy Israel; and topple pro-Western dictatorships around the Middle East. Bin Laden has also said that he wishes to unite all Muslims and establish, by force if necessary, an Islamic nation adhering to the rule of the first Caliphs.
After reading their goal, do you honestly think that the Islamic scum would not have further pursued the destruction of America within the US? Until 9/11 America's greatest "sin" to Muslims was being an ally of Israel.

Rather wins Peabody? WTF?

I just heard about this on the Hugh Hewitt show. From the "Alice in Wonderland" files:
NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - With thanks to two former colleagues who left CBS in the wake of a scandal, CBS News' Dan Rather accepted broadcast journalism's most prestigious honor on Monday for the "60 Minutes Wednesday" story that exposed the shocking conditions inside Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.
I don't know what to say; very little makes sense any more. Grab-an-Arab is "shocking" to Reuters, but very little was said about the brutal, barbaric beheadings of Nick Berg, Paul Johnson, and others. Yep, Alice in Wonderland, indeed.

CHUCKY TAKES A SWIPE AT DELAY
Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Party, said yesterday that the US House majority leader, Tom DeLay, ''ought to go back to Houston where he can serve his jail sentence," referring to allegations of unethical conduct against the Republican leader.
This was their number one boy over at Dummycrat central in last year's Presidential campaign. Then he imploded with the "scream heard 'round the world" after the Iowa Caucus. Now he's the national chairman of the DNC. Go figure. Even though I was listening to the primary live on the radio and heard the "Dean Scream" with my own 2 ears, apparently Eric Wasserman at the Miami Herald and other libs have been saying that the scream never happened, or, at least, I didn't hear what I thought I heard - another case of "Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining." Hey, Goebbels said that if you repeat a lie often enough it will become the truth; the Left takes its cues from the best. But I digress.

The Dummycrats must be masochists because they keep shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly, and I'll gladly hand them bullets all day long. Let Howard "Chucky" Dean keep running his mouth. The Dems will never get it. But we do. The days of you liberal buffoons throwing shit on a wall hoping that some of it sticks are over. There are too many of us onto you, and we are not letting you get away with your bullshit anymore. You want to pick on DeLay? There's plenty of shit to be found on your side of the fence, and we'll throw it right back at you.
...House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is under fire for an adviser’s nine-day, $4,475 junket to Spain and Germany last April, a trip primarily paid for by a nonprofit transportation-research organization Pelosi had helped to secure Federal Transit Administration monies, according to a report in the Washington Times.
Message to Nancy Pelosi: You're a loud-mouth twat. You have no room to talk. STFU already.

FOX APOLOGIZES...LIKE WE CARE

What a pendejo. This idioto is just too much. Actually, there are three idiotos mentioned here, but in this case, I'm referring to Fox.
African American leaders, including the Revs. Jesse Jackson and
Al Sharpton, called on Fox to apologize.

In telephone conversations with Jackson and Sharpton, Fox said he "regretted any hurt feelings" and has great respect "for the African-American community in the United States," according to a statement from his administration.
**Addendum** Why were Hi-Jackson and Sharp-Tongue the ones to call Fox on the carpet? I don't know one black person back in the US who considers either of these extortionist con men "African-American leaders." Who appointed them as ambassadors to Mexico? Where is President Bush on this? While I applaud him in the overall War on Terror, it is painfully clear that President Bush has no cajones when it comes to dealing with the Mexican jumping bean, Fox.

Message to Vicente Fox: Chupan mis juevos, maricon.

SEXIST, OR JUST TRYING TO SELL MORE BOOZE?

Here's one from the "This twit just doesn't get it" files. Ladies, guys will buy things from you if you look hot. In this case, drinks. Call it sexist, call it whatever, but it's just the way it is; always has been, always will be.
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A federal appeals court agreed on Friday to reconsider the case of a bartender who was fired from her job at a Nevada casino for refusing to wear lipstick, blush and other make-up.

"What makes it discriminatory is that it requires women to present themselves in a particularly feminine way," said the attorney, Jennifer Pizer of Lambda Legal in Los Angeles.
Let me see if I got this right: Chick works her way up from dishwasher to bartender over the course of 20 years at a major casino. Her contract says she is to wear lipstick and make-up. Why? Presumably because most of the casino clientele are men, and the casino wants to sell booze. They figure that a hot chick will sell more booze than some dude (we are talking Vegas, not San Francisco). Now this dumbass feels the policy doesn't agree with her, and she is suing.

We're not talking a real brainy profession here - we're talking bartender. I know a lot of people make a damn good living as bartenders, but you mean to tell me that this is the only thing this chick can do? If you don't like your job, terms of employment, or the working conditions, it is America: GET ANOTHER JOB, DUMBASS!

The case is being heard in the 9th Jerk-it Court of Schlemiels, which already said she has no case, but is now going to revisit this nonsense.
In December, Jespersen's case was dismissed by a three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which said the policy was legal. Without comment, the court reversed the ruling on Friday and ordered the case to be reheard by an 11-judge panel.
This reminds me of a bit that Chris Rock did a while back where he was talking about sexual harrassment in the work place. I don't know that it really applies here, but it's funny anyway. It went something like this:
If your boss says to you, "Sleep with me, or you're fired," THAT'S sexual harrassment. Everything else...is just trying to get laid...

OldCatman Update

Our good friend Guy, aka "Oldcatman" had his back surgery today. His sister just sent us an email to let us know that he is doing well, able to move his feet and toes, and eating pudding! They expect to have him on his feet tomorrow! Please continue pulling for him with your prayers and good thoughts.

"Star Wars" Creator George Lucas: Another Hollywood Asshat

It appears that George Lucas of "Star Wars" fame has joined the ranks of other misguided Hollyweirdos like Oliver Stoned and Ed "Assinine" Asner with these comments:
'The parallels between what we did in Vietnam and what we're doing in Iraq now are unbelievable. On the personal level it was how does a good person turn into a bad person, and part of the observation of that is that most bad people think they are good people, they are doing it for the right reasons,' he added.
Arthur Chrenkoff is a blogger from down under who once lived under Communist rule in his native Poland. Check out his "An Open Letter to George Lucas." Here's a sample:
Yes, we were very wrong indeed - to you, the Empire was the United States of America, and if that's the case, then the brave rebels could only be all those people around the world fighting the American Empire - the Castros, Che Guevaras, Ho Chi Minhs, Pol Pots, and by extension, the Brezhnevs and the Mao Tse Tungs of this world. You, of course, live in the Free World, and as such you have the right to believe that your country is the most powerful force for evil operating in the world. But just for the sake of completeness and historical accuracy, can I just mention that whatever the sins of the United States - and I certainly understand well enough that no country is perfect - your rebels, both when fighting for power and when finally in power, ended up being responsible for the death of tens of millions and enslavement of hundreds of millions; the Luke Skywalkers and Han Solos of the last century gave us gulags and re-education camps, terror famines and political prisons; they institutionalized cults of personality, stifled every human freedom and impoverished whole nations.

BREAKING NEWS: SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE PROVES NEWS-WEAK/KORAN-GATE STORY IS FALSE

When I first heard about the Koran-gate ballyhoo last week, I dismissed it as a non-story; who cares, right? If these ignorant camel jockeys want to riot and kill because of a book supposedly flushed down a toilet, big deal. The fact that they will come out in droves to riot and kill over supposed "desecration" of a book, yet are amazingly silent when their brothers decapitate a hostage with a dull butter knife, speaks volumes about what a culture of death Islam is.

But then it occurred to me that a Koran is a fairly big book - roughly the size of a Bible - and it would have to be a toilet with either a large hole or a lot of suction to successfully flush such a large book. So in the interest of accuracy in reporting, I performed my own experiment. I went to my local bookseller and purchased a hard-bound copy of the Koran. Upon returning home I placed the book in my toilet and flushed it; and flushed it again, and again. Guess what: IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!

So, in order for our Muslim friends to believe such a hoax, either they have very strong suction in their toilets, or the hole in the bottom of their toilets is very large. Since most Muslim goat fornicators shit in a hole in the ground and don't know what a toilet even is, I can see how they could fall for such a rumor.

I now have a soggy Koran and a clogged toilet. I need to go find the plunger...

**UPDATE** Reader BobF just informed me that the desecratory flushing my have actually occurred at the hands of one of Muslim's finest...and he cheated: He tore the pages out before flushing!
On Thursday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Richard Myers told reporters that the only evidence of any Koran desecration unearthed so far was a log notation describing a Muslim prisoner tossing pages from his holy book into the toilet.

"A detainee was reported by a guard to be ripping pages out of a Koran and putting them in a toilet to stop it up as a protest," Gen. Myers said, in quotes picked up by the Washington Times. "But not where the U.S. did it."

A Muslim Responds...and He's NOT a Happy Camper

Well, well, well. It seems I got a live one who goes by the handle, "NSM." He is a member of the Great Religion of Peace, and he takes issue with today's Editorial. He commented on our last post, and we thought it was so good that it deserves its own time in the sun. The usual procedure applies: His comments in the grey boxes, my rebuttals below each. Let's get started, shall we?

(NSM): Firstly mates, you must understand that you shall never quite understand Islam and Muslims unless you have lived in a Muslim country.
If I have heard that once, I've heard it a thousand times; this victim mentality crap is getting tiresome. Firstly, mate, what is so special about you Muslims that you feel this sense of entitlement or privilege that everybody else owes you understanding or anything else? It's always the rest of us that don't get it. Let me tell you, my friend, I have spent some time in Muslim countries, and I've seen how you treat your own kind; I understand you all to well. I don't need to live in a pile of shit to know it stinks.
We are perpetually besought with issues of extremism and lack of education.
Yes, and it is largely of your own doing. Your culture has remained stagnant for 1,000 years, and many among you find themselves lost in a world they cannot comprehend. Again, that is largely of your own doing. Rather than educate your people, your tribal elders and imams have deliberately kept your people ignorant, perpetuating centuries of barbaric and out-dated customs and traditions, fueling hate which justifies the misery so many of your people face. The educated ones among you either recognize this condition and advocate some type of reformation, or, like you, they exploit this condition and continue to make excuses and blame everybody else for "not getting it." Wake up, and look within your own culture to make some changes where they really apply; and stop trying to force everybody else to accept your bullshit ways, mate.
We certainly are much more sensitive, so why-oh-why would you wish to poke "the bear"? You know that we react strongly.
Ahhhh, thank you for proving my point. You object to what I have written in today's Editorial which, by the way, you cannot dispute, so now comes the indignation and semi-veiled threats. First, you flatter yourselves if you see yourselves as bears; I see you more like hyenas. You make lots of noise; you're tough in packs when you prey on the innocent or out-numbered; and you run and hide when confronted by an equal or superior force. Second, I'm a former United States Marine, and I don't scare easily or give a shit how strongly you react, pal. I'll react even stronger. And there are a whole lot more like me who, when push comes to shove, will go to the mat again, if that is what it comes down to. Save the tough talk. In the words of my President, "Bring it on."

Oh, I almost forgot the last part, directed at one of our readers and all around good guy, Stan:
Secondly, I request stanley that he not name his cat after our Holy Prophet. We Muslims believe in Christ as a prophet, the Bible as a holy book, the Virgin Mary and the same God; and have never in our history and present insulted the mentioned, as this too is a sacrilege in Islam.
Stan can respond as he sees fit, but I'll speak for myself. NSM, first of all, I wouldn't name my cat after your holy prophet, just because I don't like the name. But if I were so inclined, I would; and I would tell you to go f*ck yourself. If you find it sacriligious, don't name your pet after your holy prophet. This idea that everybody else has to recognize or bow down to your ways, again, proves my point that your culture and religion have no tolerance for any other way of living.

Cheers

**Addendum** Here you go. It didn't take my better half very long to find an example of the filthy, ass-backwards, repressive customs far too many Muslims bring with them when they emigrate to the West:
In the past four months, six Muslim women living in Berlin have been brutally murdered by family members. Their crime? Trying to break free and live Western lifestyles. Within their communities, the killers are revered as heroes for preserving their family dignity. How can such a horrific and shockingly archaic practice be flourishing in the heart of Europe? The deaths have sparked momentary outrage, but will they change the grim reality for Muslim women?
**********************************
The shots came from nowhere and within minutes the young Turkish mother standing at the Berlin bus stop was dead....Hatin (Surucu's) crime, it appears, was the desire to lead a normal life in her family's adopted land. The vivacious 23-year-old beauty, who was raised in Berlin, divorced the Turkish cousin she was forced to marry at age 16. She also discarded her Islamic head scarf, enrolled in a technical school where she was training to become an electrician and began dating German men. For her family, such behavior represented the ultimate shame -- the embrace of "corrupt" Western ways.

The crime might be easier to digest if it had been an archaic anomaly, but five other Muslim women have been murdered in Berlin during the past four months by their husbands or partners for besmirching the family's Muslim honor. Two of them were stabbed to death in front of their young children, one was shot, one strangled and a fifth drowned.
**********************************
The Turkish women's organization Papatya has documented 40 instances of honor killings in Germany since 1996. Examples include a Darmstadt girl whose two brothers pummelled her to death with a hockey stick in April 2004 after they learned she had slept with her boyfriend. In Augsburg in April, a man stabbed his wife and 7-year-old daughter because the wife was having an affair. In December 2003, a Tuebingen father strangled his 16-year-old daughter and threw her body into a lake because she had a boyfriend. Bullets, knives, even axes and gasoline are the weapons of choice. The crime list compiled by Papatya is an exercise in horror. And the sad part, said Boehmecke, is that it is far from complete. "We'll never really know how many victims there are. Too often these crimes go unreported."
NSM, what is it, again, that you think I don't understand? You come here with your high and mighty attitude in defense of your pathetic culture? You have no defense. You disgust me. Piss off.

EDITORIAL: The Difference Between Us and Them

This story is REALLY HOT and, rather than bore you with a re-hash of what has been so heavily and admirably covered by our fellow bloggers, I thought I would share with you my perspective based on just one tiny sentence in that article which may or may not have already occurred to you.

Have you ever gotten into a debate or argument with a moonbat, and they say something along the lines of, "We (the US) are just as bad when we (President Bush) speak of doing things in the name of God. What makes us right and them (the Muslims) wrong? What's the difference between us and them?" Next time you hear some lame attempt at neutral and independent "thinking" like that, simply say with a slowwww, deliberate cadence in a very calm, matter-of-fact, semi-monotone indicative of a sense of haughtiness and just a touch of arrogance:
Desecration of the Koran is punishable by death in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
At that point you may choose to either leave it at that and walk away, or stick around for the facial contortions and thousand yard stare to develop as confusion sets in. Of course, the perfect follow-up (should one be necessary): "Is there a law on the books in the US that says desecration of the Bible is punishable by death?"

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't any such law, and regardless of whether you are agnostic, atheist, Buddhist, Christian, deist, Druid, Hindu, Jew, Muslim, nihilst, Wiccan, or "other," you must realize that. Yes, the evangelist-types on TV or the ones who attempt to proselytize while you're at the mall may bother you, but they are not calling for your death if you don't believe. The muderers of abortion clinic doctors may disgust you, but they are so few and far between and WIDELY DENOUNCED by most sane, rational people, Christian and non-Christian alike, that they are not even worth mentioning.
Desecration of the Koran is punishable by death in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
There is no equivalent law or anything that even comes close to it in the US or any other civilized country that could be called a "Christian nation." It represents the very essence of what makes us different from them. Remember that.

Once Again I say the UN Stuffed Up

My favourite tyrant, Mugabe of Zimbabwe...who is on the UN Human Rights Council...What, a peace offering? To try and get everyone to think he is just, and they will forget?...I don't think so! Mugabe, you are nothing but scum!!! .
Zimbabwe frees S Africa plotters:
"Sixty-two South Africans linked to an alleged coup plot in Equatorial Guinea last year have been freed from a Zimbabwe jail, their lawyer has said.

Speaking from South Africa, Alwyn Griebenow said he heard of the release from contacts in Zimbabwe and that the men were being taken to the border.

Sir Mark Thatcher, the son of the former British prime minister, appeared in court in South Africa last month to answer questions over his role in the alleged plot.

The conduct of the trials in Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea were criticised in the West, amid allegations of torture and forced confessions.

Vicente Fox: Diarrhea of the Mouth or Shit for Brains...or BOTH!!!

What a joke.
Does anyone else see the irony here with Mexico's reaction to a US law? For years the sly Fox has looked the other way on the issue of illegals and their impact on the US, and at the same time actively engouraged the illegal immigrants to enter the US.

It seems that Mexican Federales only arrest and imprison foreign visitors, so they can extort monies from the unfortunate victims families or governments.

If Fox's concerns over the issuance of drivers licenses are such a concern to him, he can fund a free driving school and hand out licenses in Mexico to keep all his citizens where they belong. That way he will know that their rights to obtain a license are not being abused:

Mexico furious at tough US law on migrants:
Mexico has reacted furiously to a bill signed into law by the US this week that would fund a border wall and prevent illegal Mexican migrants from obtaining US driving licences.
Wow, with this statement you can see the high regard Fox has for his own people. And if I was a black person I would be highly insulted at such a disparaging, racist comment.
Mexican President's Remark Criticized:
President Vicente Fox came under criticism Saturday after saying Mexicans were willing to take jobs 'that not even blacks want to do in the United States.
Easier solution, sly Fox, patrol your borders to keep your people at home. Or the US can just issue orders to shoot on sight any that attempt an illegal crossing.
Mexico to Send Protest Letter to U.S.: "
Mexico will send a diplomatic letter to the United States protesting the extension of a wall along the U.S.-California border, officials said Friday.
Fox wants to be taken seriously. Hell with this prime example of the ineptitude and corruption of the Mexican judicial system when it comes to ensuring the safety and welfare of the US, I am certain all will heed his words of wisdom.
Inmate Wanted in U.S. Flees Mexican Jail:
A U.S. request to extradite Herrera on drug trafficking and organized crime charges has been on hold while Mexican officials considered appeals.

Guards noticed Otto Roberto Herrera Garcia was missing Friday evening, prompting an all-night search, authorities said. Mexico City authorities detained some 45 jail employees, including the facility's director..

Zambrano acknowledged that inmates in such high-profile drug cases are ordinarily held at maximum security prisons and said 'it would be very strange that federal authorities did not request custody to have him in a high-security prison and had allowed that he stay here.

Somali Warlords Begin Withdrawing Fighters

The same repetitive show of peace is in play again. It takes all factions of militiamen to disarm to solve the unrest. We can see what is going to happen, the freelance, businessmen and Islamics are only going to exploit their advantage of being still fully armed, and you can guarantee they will have strategic plans on how and where to cause the most damage to incite mayhem.

Somali Warlords Begin Withdrawing Fighters: "
Hundreds of armed militiamen, who not too long ago fought one another on the streets of Mogadishu, parked about 60 pickup trucks mounted with machine-guns at Mogadishu's main soccer stadium, shook hands, smiled and even struck up conversations.

Freelance militiamen and those controlled by businessmen and Islamic courts, however, are not part of the pullout and this could undermine efforts to restore order in the city with an estimated 10,500 armed fighters."

A Caught Fool

LMAO..should have realised the old saying, "loose lips sink ships", really is sound advice. Let us hope the monies are used for the disabled, that would be a real victory and slap in the face to both Stern and the "Crazy Cabbie." He can now be called "TAX-eee-Dumbest"

The Washington Times: AP: "NEW YORK (AP) -- Radio personality 'Crazy Cabbie' will spend a year in prison for tax evasion after boasting about it on the nationally syndicated 'Howard Stern Show.'"

Message to Our Readers

First off, our good friend Guy, aka "Oldcatman" or "OCM," has been putting up what he calls "Subtle Satires" for the last few days, and many of them speak volumes or are just downright funny. He's got poetry, cat and other animal pics from around the farm, and other original items such as the "Thumbnail Passion Plays." He's also going in for back surgery in less than 48 hours now, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. If you haven't been to his site, go visit him now.

Next up we have to give a shout and a BIG THANK YOU!!! to Arthur Chrenkoff, the Australain conservative blogger who linked to our story from May 6, "Did the Muslims Have an Impact on British Elections?" Mae and I have been daily readers of his blog for well over a year now, and you should be, too. He is adamant in his support for the allied War on Terror, and he writes extensively about it.

Stay tuned for more pics, racing news, and other bits as our Weekend Magazine Edition continues...
