Quick Updates

The prosecutors on this case should heed this warning and take action to dismiss their star witness as unreliable....me I tend to lean toward calling him not unreliable but a liar and a disgrace to his uniform.

Drop murder charges, Pantano prober urges :
'The government was not able to produce credible evidence or testimony that the killings were premeditated,' Col. Winn wrote in his May 12 report, a copy of which was obtained today by The Washington Times.
Well, who is surprised with this revealation:
Authorities said last month that they believed the story was a hoax, and they arrested the 39-year-old Ayala at her home in Las Vegas and charged her with attempted grand larceny for allegedly trying to shake down Wendy's. But whose finger was in the chili remained a mystery.

The owner was traced through a tip made to a Wendy's hot line, Davis said. He said the man lost the finger in December, and authorities "positively confirmed that this subject was in fact the source of the fingertip." The nature of the industrial accident was not disclosed.
Good on them, I think closing of bases proposal is stupidity personified
"The ones they did were truly ones on their last legs," he said. The Pentagon estimates the closures will save $48 billion over 20 years.
An easier solution is stop all free healthcare to illegal immigrants, hell, they will have an excess in budget that way.

How typical of Liberals
Sen. Barbara Boxer (news, bio, voting record) of California said she would delay a Senate vote on Bolton, currently the top U.S. diplomat for arms control, until the administration turns over classified documents that Democrats on the Foreign Relations Committee had sought before the committee's vote on Thursday.
How to raise a child who is shrewd enough to swindle money from an organisation of supposed peace, truth, honesty, justice and humanity, we need only turn and ask our favourite, chief UN liar:
U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan did not initially tell investigators in the oil-for-food probe that he met twice with representatives of his son's employer as the Swiss company began soliciting United Nations business.

The final report also didn't mention that Annan had originally denied knowing one of his son's business associates with whom he had had lunch. Nor did it mention that the business associate testified that he specifically discussed Kojo Annan's interest in doing business in Iraq with the U.N. chief.
Yeah right, one liar to another in this case, both lost causes along with the UN's double standards...wait, do they really practice the notion of having standards?

This story makes me glad I don't dream, or if I do I hope they are nightmares.
Like Richard Gere's character from "An Officer and a Gentleman," Eric Cooper seemed like every woman's dream

Awwww my heart bleeds...more Liberal Woes
"The infighting couldn't come at a worse time for them, or for Democrats," said Steve Elmendorf, a Democratic consultant with deep ties to labor. "It's bad for the Democrat Party to have labor leaders fighting each other instead of helping us win.
City of Beverley Hills has got to wonder why they had ever elected this fool as Mayor in 1986
Spadaro said she runs a legitimate kennel for rescued dogs and cats and the city's action Thursday was illegal.

"I think Rialto has been persecuting me, frankly," Spadaro said.

Lastly, I do like the way Gov. Schwarzenegger is speaking to the press. Let us, remember that although the statistics show that per student CA is below state averages, this is occuring due to the high numbers of illegals draining the education system in CA. Arnie needs to keep to his position on the Minute Man Project and keep voicing, pushing for greater border security from the Dept. of Homeland Security.

Governor Arnie:
"'We would love to spend much more money,' Schwarzenegger said. 'But as governor you have to be kind of like a parent who sits there and says 'no, no, no, you can't do this, you can't do that.' … You have to look at the total picture.

'It's a responsible budget that pays down our debt and contains no new borrowing,' he said. 'It doesn't make long-term commitments the state can't keep.'"
