Navy Deserter Gets Hard Labor

Every now and then something like this comes around and I feel all giddy. Everything came together the way it should. The rules are clearly defined, shown to have been blatantly violated, and punishment handed out accordingly. Nice, neat and tidy.

Such is the case with Pablo "The Punk" Paredes:
SAN DIEGO – A military judge ordered a Navy sailor on Thursday to complete three months of hard labor for refusing to deploy with his ship in protest of the war in Iraq, but he declined prosecutors' requests for time in custody.

Lt. Cmdr. Bob Klant also reduced Pablo Paredes' rank from petty officer third class to seaman recruit, the lowest in the Navy.
I still lived in the San Diego area at the time and was listening to Rick Roberts the morning Pablo's ship sailed as he stood on the dock and this whole thing took off.

What little fucktards like Pablo don't understand (or think they can somehow get around) is that they gave up their right to protest when they signed the contract. Resignation is not an option.

Obviously, this kid had some help planning his treasonous actions. What's even more disturbing is how this Far Left military obstructionist San Diego organization passes itself off:
The SDMCP is an organization of vets and other people; we work with active duty folks and their families who are having problems within the Military. We can provide you with information, experience, and support that will enable you to know what civil rights you still have, even while in the Military. We can also help people apply for discharges based on Conscientious Objection, Hardship and Dependency or others. If you need an Attorney, Doctor or Clergy not affiliated with the Military we can refer you to one. We are not, in any way, connected with the Military.
Take a look at who else supports him. Any wonder why?

Even the Supreme Illuminati of the Moonbat Left, Noam Chomsky, weighed in on Pablo the Punk:
NOAM CHOMSKY:
"The actions that Pablo Paredes is taking are honorable and impressive, and merit the support of people who are committed to peace, justice, and the rule of law -- not force -- in world affairs. It is no exaggeration to say that the possibilities for decent human survival depend on that commitment. I hope that others will be inspired by Pablo's courageous actions, and will not only lend him their support, but will find their own ways to work for the same ends."
Citizen SMASH, head of the local San Diego chapter of Protest Warrior sums it all up very nicely.

Good order and discipline are essential to the function of the military. To have let this little turd get away with this would have sent a message to any other miscreant who would like a way out that this is OK. Oops...think again, dipshit.

During Gulf 1 a Navy Dr. deployed but went on a hunger-strike against the "illegal war".
Well my late father had a great way to solve THAT problem-If you refuse to serve when called up you should be dishonorably discharged and THEN be required to reimburse the Govt for all the resorces expended on you-EVERYTHING!!
In the Dr's case that would have equaled a pretty penny-being that the Navy paid for him to go to medical school.

As for Pablo-He should have been shot for desrtion in a time of war.
That was easy.

Justice was done here. If he has an agenda it should be kept to himself.
