Rather wins Peabody? WTF?

I just heard about this on the Hugh Hewitt show. From the "Alice in Wonderland" files:

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - With thanks to two former colleagues who left CBS in the wake of a scandal, CBS News' Dan Rather accepted broadcast journalism's most prestigious honor on Monday for the "60 Minutes Wednesday" story that exposed the shocking conditions inside Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.

I don't know what to say; very little makes sense any more. Grab-an-Arab is "shocking" to Reuters, but very little was said about the brutal, barbaric beheadings of Nick Berg, Paul Johnson, and others. Yep, Alice in Wonderland, indeed.
